About MonthPick

What it is. MonthPick helps you decide when to go. Choose a month and the kind of holiday you want, and it ranks areas by how well their usual weather suits that holiday, with a score out of 100.

What the scores are. They are estimates from modelled climate averages (2004–2023), not forecasts. They say what the weather is usually like in a month, not what it will be on your dates. How we score explains the method, the confidence levels and the limits.

Where the data comes from. The weather figures come from the Copernicus Climate Change Service (ERA5 and ERA5-Land) and CHIRPS satellite rainfall. The full list of sources and the licence wording are on How we score.

Who makes it. MonthPick is made by KJLabs, with AI tools helping to write the code and the text.
